Involve One Who created you

Sometimes I get asked, “how did you know he’s the one? Do you love him that much?”
He’s my childhood crush, that’s a fact. But it has nothing to do with me deciding to marry him. We both weren’t kids anymore and we both had our own crazy stories in between.

I knew he’s the one, not because I fell for him or things like that.
He popped up after years of absence, delivering idea of marriage. What else I could do? All that I could think of was to ask Allah for answers. I’m not an angelic person rather i’m full of sin, but amazingly my heart filled with eases to decide.

After I experience living with him, then I know why Allah picked him for me. I came to understand everything I was before, every word I’ve written in my life story, was a prep for me to be able to grow strong in our relationship. At this point I believe, no one should getting married with love as a starting point, it’s reckless to do. Because human hardly able to tell apart love and desire. That way, involve Allah in deciding. Is it love you’re feeling, or only rushing desire? If it’s only desire, careful it won’t stay long. You don’t want entering marriage life just as kids crying over toys, do you? Once they get their toys, they play with it a little and soon tired of it.

Marriage is longer than a lifetime. If you’re blessed enough, you’ll meet him again in Jannah for eternity. Make sure to ask yourself and ask One who created yourself.

With Allah’s blessings, I love him.
